Our trip is ON! We will now be joining Point Grey Secondary for our first ever Sister School Exchange to Japan from November 8-16, 2016. Fourteen of our students will have the opportunity to participate in this special cultural and school exchange program. We will be visiting our Sister School, Y’Ko, in Yokohama, Japan and get to see how school works on the other side of the world. Importantly, students will have the chance to meet new people, share ideas and make new friends! For part of the trip, our students will have the special opportunity to stay with a Japanese student and their family. We will also be touring site around Tokyo, one of the largest cities in the world, as well as Hiroshima, the historical WWII city.
For the students who won’t have the opportunity to go to Japan in November…that’s ok! Ideal Mini is also looking forward to hosting our Japanese exchange students at our school at a later time next school year.
