School Trips

Annual School Camp Timberline Ranch, Maple Ridge

Each year, our entire school participates in a 3 day camp trip in October.  It is a great opportunity for students to have fun and bond, particularly the new grade 8s to make new friends.  Our Leadership 12 students become camp leaders and help lead activities and the multi-age camp groups throughout the trip.

Sister School ExchangeTokyo & Yokohama, Japan (November 2020 postponed)Japan

Our 2020-21 senior students will have an opportunity to participate in our Sister School Exchange program with Yokohama Commercial High School (Y’Ko) in Japan.  This special cultural exchange opportunity will allow students on both sides of the world to see how we each live, learn and play.  Our students will be billeted for part of the trip while in Japan and will have the unique opportunity to be hosted by a Japanese family.

In return, Ideal Mini will also host students from Y’Ko and have the opportunity to show them our school and our city.  Imagine their faces when they step into the hallway of Ideal…

International friendships are bound to form from this fantastic program!
