On Wednesday October 17, Ideal students participated in the CIVIX Student Municipal Election.
After a brief tour of a local polling station, the Grade 9 Socials class set up and conducted the school wide election. They did it like a bunch of professionals.
Interestingly, the results were very similar to the results of the actual election: Ideal students selected Kennedy Stewart for Mayor followed closely by Ken Sim.
Special thanks goes out to Amber, Ramneet, Aberdeen, and Naoli who organized the event and then went through the mind-numbing process of counting all those votes!
